Electrical Technical Officers (ETO)

Duration: Long Term

• VFDs / Soft Starters

• programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Sensor systems:
• temperature, pressure sensors, and encoders
• Generators:
• synchronization, safety shutdown systems, troubleshooting of alternators and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator)
• High Voltage / Low Voltage (HV/LV) systems:
• operation, switching, protection, and maintenance

• Main Switchboard (MSB)

• operation, maintenance, fault finding, and protection systems
• **Advanced troubleshooting & fault finding, including root cause analysis**
• PLC & Automation systems:
• control panels, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

• Planned Maintenance System (PMS)

• maintenance scheduling, reporting, and system management
• **Power Management System (PMS)**

• Dynamic Positioning (DP) System

• basic operation, troubleshooting
• **Fire detection and fire protection systems**
• **Gas detection systems, including H2S sensors**
• **Cranes and crane control systems, including sensors and operational principles**
• **Jacking systems, including all related sensors, especially programmable pressure sensors**
• Navigation equipment:
• ECDIS, gyro compass, and radar system
• **Satellite and marine communication systems**
• **Computers and industrial control systems**

Qualifications

• Offshore-experienced ETO with strong electrical & automation capability
• Able to work independently in high‑pressure offshore environments
• Strong communication, reporting, and safety awareness
• Excellent fault‑finding and system diagnostic skills
• **at least 05 years**

• mainly from offshore
• **Preferred Nationalities: Southeast Asians / Ukrainians / Indians / Africans / South Americans**
• (this selection is to avoid possibilities the rejection of CICPA passes travelling to offshore due to the current situation)
