Electrical Supervisor

· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institution.

· 8 to 10 years of experience in the supervision and execution of electrical works for large-scale projects such as commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

· Minimum 3 years of GCC experience, preferably in Qatar.

· Strong background in power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and electrical systems installation and commissioning.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and understanding electrical drawings.

· Familiar with planning and reporting tools for site progress tracking.

· KM Approved Electrical Supervisor under Kahramaa (Mandatory).

· Valid Kahramaa Electrical Supervisor Registration Certificate.

· Safety Training Certification (HSE/OSHA) is an advantage.

· ISO 9001:2015 Awareness (preferable).

· Supervise and coordinate all electrical site activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

· Plan and monitor daily site works for power, lighting, earthing, and electrical installations.

· Ensure that electrical installations comply with consultant and local authority standards (Kahramaa, Civil Defense, etc.).

· Inspect and verify materials and equipment delivered to site are as per approved material submittals.

· Assign work to technicians and foremen and ensure manpower productivity and resource utilization.

· Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, finishing) to resolve site clashes and ensure smooth progress.

· Ensure proper implementation of approved method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures at site.

· Supervise installation of cable trays, conduits, trunking, wiring, panels, MDB, SMDB, DBs, and other electrical equipment.

· Monitor progress of site works and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Project/Construction Engineer.

· Coordinate with subcontractors for timely completion of electrical works and testing & commissioning activities.

· Ensure all safety measures are implemented on site and conduct toolbox talks with the workforce.

· Support in preparing site inspection requests (IRs/MIRs) and assist QA/QC in inspection activities.

· Verify work quality and rectify any non-conformities identified during inspections.

· Assist in testing and commissioning of all electrical systems and coordinate with consultant representatives.

· Maintain as-built documentation, daily logs, and material usage records.

· Coordinate with Kahramaa for inspections, approvals, and energization requirements.

· Report to the Project/Construction Manager on progress, manpower, materials, and technical issues.
