Job Purpose
The Electrical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and presenting technical solutions to meet customer needs.
This role bridges the gap between complex engineering concepts and commercial sales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and develop new market opportunities and clients (contractors, consultants, and industrial end-users).
Technical Sales: Present, promote, and sell the company’s electrical products and solutions using solid technical arguments.
Tendering & Quotations: Review client specifications, prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals/quotations, and handle contract negotiations.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth areas.
After-Sales Support: Provide basic technical assistance and coordinate with the engineering team to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
