Role Summary
Support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of electrical construction projects, including BoQ verification, payment applications, subcontractor valuations, variation orders, final accounts, and site quantity verification.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and revise Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
- Prepare client payment applications and review subcontractor payment claims.
- Assess and manage variation orders and final accounts.
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress, quantities, and payment claims.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, site, and commercial teams.
- Review approved drawings, WIRs, and NCRs for accurate measurement and payment.
- Maintain contract documentation and support commercial administration.
- Participate in training and continuously develop technical and software skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum
- 8 years
- of experience in Quantity Surveying or the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC), BoQ preparation, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience in payment applications, subcontractor valuations, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good command of English.
- **Professional Quantity Surveying certification (e.g., CQS, RICS, AIQS) is preferred.**
