Role overview
Coordinate, supervise, and execute electrical work on construction and interior fit-out projects.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements; prepare and review shop drawings, as-builts, BOQs, and material take-offs.
- Supervise installations including lighting, power distribution, DBs, cabling, containment, switches, and sockets.
- Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, and interior fit-out teams.
- Inspect work, resolve technical issues with project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate material requisitions and procurement, and monitor progress, manpower, materials, and schedules.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover; maintain reports and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE electrical regulations, authority requirements, and HSE procedures.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in electrical MEP works; construction or interior fit-out experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, installation methods, BOQs, and material estimation.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical standards and authority requirements.
- Strong technical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage site activities and meet deadlines.
- UAE project experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
