Job Summary
The Electrical General Foreman supervises and coordinates electrical installation, maintenance, and testing at project sites.
The role ensures safe, efficient work that meets project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical foremen, electricians, technicians, and helpers on site.
- Plan daily manpower, tools, equipment, and material allocation.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and work schedules before execution.
- Ensure installations meet approved drawings, project requirements, and regulations.
- Monitor progress and coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements; inspect work quality and rectify deficiencies.
- Report manpower, progress, material needs, and site issues to management.
- Maintain tools, equipment, company assets, and accurate site records.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
- Identify and resolve site technical and operational issues and ensure compliance with electrical codes, company policies, and client requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of electrical construction, installation, and site-supervision experience.
- Experience with villas, schools, residential towers, and commercial projects.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and construction regulations.
- Proficiency in preparing daily reports and coordinating site activities.
Work Location
- Work location is in person at project sites.
