Role overview

Vitex Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced trade-qualified electrical maintenance professional for its manufacturing operation.

The position supports machinery, equipment and facility reliability in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
  • Respond to breakdowns and resolve issues to minimise downtime and production delays.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

Skills and experience

  • Proven maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for occasional overtime as needed.
