- This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Draughtsman at Al Shandagha Architects & Engineering Consultants in Dubai. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to join our team in the construction industry in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and completion of electrical designs and construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to high-impact projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop electrical drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software and REVIT.
- Review and analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and related documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the modification and improvement of existing electrical designs to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of electrical designs and revisions for reference and future projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical design and drafting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, with a strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including a thorough understanding of building and construction requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and convey technical information clearly.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
