Electrical Draftsman – Gulf Opportunity (UAE)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop electrical layouts for lighting, power, LV systems, and ELV systems.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), panel layouts, cable routing, and cable tray layouts.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on engineering comments and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority standards, and international codes.
• Prepare BOQ support drawings and documentation as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Gulf/UAE experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience in preparing MEP electrical drawings.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, standards, and construction practices.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
