Required Qualifications
- Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical design experience.
- Skills/Technical Requirements:
- Industrial wiring and cable assemblies.
- Harness design and connector selection.
- Industrial electrical documentation.
- Basic AC/DC power distribution and industrial control components.
- Electrical drafting practices.
- High-flex cable systems and e-chain applications is desirable.
- Experience with some electrical CAD system; Altium Designer, AutoCAD, or DraftSight is desirable.

- Highly organized with strong documentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive in identifying issues and driving tasks to completion.

- Willing to learn new technologies and continuously improve engineering knowledge.
- Job Conditions: Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
- Physical Demands/Strengths: Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer terminal. Use of keyboard.

- Compensation: The estimated base pay range for this position is $82,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related factors. This range represents Cohu’s good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for this role upon hire. This role may also be eligible for other compensation programs as determined by company policy.
