• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for fire trucks and specialized vehicles.
• The role requires strong expertise in control systems, automotive electrical design, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• ****Key Responsibilities:****
• Prepare work instructions and detailed electrical schematics for fire truck systems.
• Design and develop electrical systems with strong knowledge of control systems and CAN Bus systems.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on hydraulic-related electrical integrations, including water supply and drainage systems.
• Develop and issue electrical designs in line with project schedules and deadlines.
• Interpret technical specifications and negotiate design details with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with the mechanical design team to ensure proper placement and integration of electrical components in vehicles.
• Ensure all designs comply with international automotive standards and regulations.
• Review and improve existing systems to enhance performance, safety, and efficiency.
• ****Technical Requirements:****
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Expertise in control systems and CAN Bus systems
• Familiarity with automotive electrical design standards
• Understanding of hydraulic system integration
• ****Qualifications:****
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in automotive or heavy vehicle electrical design (preferably fire trucks or similar equipment)
