Role Description
- Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, earthing, and lightning protection.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform electrical calculations such as load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
- Ensure designs comply with TAQA, ADMCC, TDRA, UAE Fire Code, and other relevant authority requirements.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and infrastructure teams throughout all design stages.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of electrical design experience, with UAE experience mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, DIALux, and other electrical design tools.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and standards, including TAQA, ADMCC, TDRA, and UAE Fire Code.
- Experience with embedded systems, IT systems, ELV, security systems, control systems, and power distribution.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
