🎯 The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Editorial Manager
- to lead editorial planning, content development, and publishing operations across multiple channels.
- The ideal candidate will oversee editorial strategy, maintain exceptional content quality, manage editorial workflows, and ensure all published content aligns with brand standards, audience needs, and organizational objectives.
- 🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute editorial strategies aligned with organizational objectives, content marketing goals, and brand positioning
- Create and manage editorial calendars, publishing schedules, content roadmaps, and production timelines across digital and traditional channels
- Lead the planning, editing, review, and publication of articles, blogs, white papers, newsletters, website content, case studies, and other editorial assets
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, product, creative, SEO, customer success, and subject matter experts to produce engaging, accurate, and audience-focused content
- Establish and maintain editorial standards, style guides, content governance policies, and quality assurance processes to ensure consistency across all publications
- Review, edit, and approve content for accuracy, clarity, tone, grammar, brand consistency, legal compliance, and editorial quality
- Optimize editorial content for search engine optimization (SEO), readability, accessibility, audience engagement, and digital performance
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including content quality, publishing efficiency, audience engagement, website traffic, organic search performance, conversion rates, and content reach
- Conduct content audits, editorial performance reviews, competitor analysis, and audience research to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Manage relationships with writers, editors, freelancers, agencies, designers, and other external contributors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
- Prepare editorial performance reports, dashboards, insights, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop editors, copywriters, content specialists, and editorial coordinators while fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- ✅ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field preferred
- Professional certifications in Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO, Editorial Management, Google Analytics, or equivalent are advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in editorial management, content management, publishing, journalism, communications, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing editorial teams, publishing operations, or cross-functional content initiatives preferred
- Strong understanding of editorial planning, content strategy, copy editing, proofreading, SEO, publishing workflows, content governance, and brand communications
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEO tools, editorial workflow platforms, project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools
- Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools, digital publishing platforms, email marketing systems, and digital asset management platforms is advantageous
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, editorial judgment, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy, consistency, and editorial excellence under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
