We are looking for a motivated, organized and customer-focused Ecommerce Jewellery Sales Specialist to take ownership of our incoming online enquiries and help convert digital leads into store visits and sales.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for handling all incoming leads from our digital marketing campaigns and online channels.
This includes speaking to customers over WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls and other messaging platforms, answering their questions quickly and professionally, and coordinating closely with our store teams to ensure smooth follow-up and conversion.
The ideal candidate understands jewellery, communicates confidently, and is highly organized when it comes to follow-ups, reporting and managing multiple conversations at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to all incoming enquiries from digital ads, website forms, WhatsApp, Instagram and phone calls
- Answer customer questions regarding:
- Product details and specifications
- Gold and diamond pricing
- Design availability
- Ring sizes and jewellery sizes
- Store stock and availability
- Promotions, offers and discounts
- Store timings, locations and directions
- Help customers shortlist products and encourage store visits or online purchase
- Coordinate with store teams to confirm stock, pricing and availability
- Ensure clean hand-off of leads to in-store sales staff when required
- Follow up consistently with customers until the enquiry is closed
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer conversations and follow-up status
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on enquiries, conversions and sales performance
- Prioritize hot leads and ensure no customer enquiry is missed
- Take ownership of the online sales channel and actively work to improve conversion rates
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi
- Additional language skills such as Malayalam, Tamil or Telugu are a strong advantage
- Good understanding of jewellery products, especially gold and diamond jewellery
- Understanding of jewellery pricing, product types, weights, purity and diamond terminology
- Comfortable communicating with customers through WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls and digital platforms
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously
- Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working closely with both ecommerce and store teams
- Basic computer skills and confidence using Excel, CRM systems and online messaging tools
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in jewellery sales, jewellery ecommerce, customer relationship executive (CRE), telesales or online customer service
- Prior experience working in a jewellery showroom, jewellery ecommerce business or gold and diamond retail environment is preferred
- Experience handling online leads generated from Meta, Google or social media ads is an advantage
