My client are looking for a Category Manager for their growing eCommerce team.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, trend awareness, analytical capability, and supplier negotiation skills within an eCommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the category strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Own P&L for the category, including revenue, margin and sell-through.
- Define seasonal and annual buying plans based on trends, customer insights, and performance data.
- Onboard brands globally.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics including GMV, margin, conversion, AOV, sell-through, and returns.
- Analyze customer behavior, trends, and competitor benchmarks.
- Identify underperforming SKUs and implement corrective action plans.
- Stay updated on global and regional trends.
- Monitor competitor assortment, pricing, and promotional activity.
- Leverage customer feedback and data insights to refine category strategy.
