Job Purpose / Role
The role of the E-Commerce Lead is to attract and source products for listing on the company’s e-commerce platforms.
The position also supports the marketing team in matters related to e-commerce standards, technologies, and practices.
The job holder is responsible for creating, publishing, and expanding reliable e-commerce products, services, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Full proficiency in sourcing and listing products electronically on e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in managing contracts related to products offered in e-commerce markets.
- Ability to perform analysis and derive insights in the field of e-commerce.
- Experience in digital marketing.
- Experience in pricing and marketing strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of e-commerce market dynamics.
- Good knowledge of the e-commerce industry in the Middle East region in particular, and globally in general.
- Ability to travel to source and attract targeted products.
- General knowledge of applications and technologies used in this field.
- Experience in international parcel shipping.
- Planning, developing, and implementing various e-commerce initiatives and solutions, and supporting the transformation and online deployment of platform products and services.
- Collaborating with other team members within the department to manage the platform’s digital identity, ensure compliance with branding standards across all digital platforms, and enhance digital marketing through consistent brand identity.
- Keeping up to date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and global best practices to ensure the implementation of optimal tools and systems for the organization.
Qualifications & Certifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Marketing, or Digital Media.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in e-commerce.
- Previous experience in the Middle East / GCC countries is preferred.
