We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a E-commerce Data & Catalog Specialist to work on a contractor basis.
This individual will apply their expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
With a focus on e-commerce, this role requires domain knowledge and experience in managing, structuring, and curating large-scale product catalogs.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce operations, data modeling, and structured dataset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, structure, and curate large-scale e-commerce product catalogs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Develop, implement, and refine product taxonomy frameworks to simulate real-world e-commerce classifications and browsing experiences.
- Normalize and map product data sourced from diverse databases, applying best practices in structured dataset management.
- Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date product information, including descriptions, images, and pricing details.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and catalog updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, including product catalog management, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database management, with experience in data modeling and structured dataset management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
