Position overview
Technical authority for large-scale Dynamics 365 retail programs across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, and Commerce.
Owns solution design, development leadership, code quality, and platform health for high-volume operations.
Works with client IT leadership, Microsoft, functional consultants, and D365 developers.
Location and work mode
- Remote role; candidate should be based in or around Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Occasional travel to the Riyadh client site may be required.
Architecture and delivery
- Own architecture, extensions, integrations, data flows, and environment strategy across D365 functional areas.
- Author technical designs, review functional designs, and estimate and defend technical effort.
Integration, data, and Commerce
- Design integrations with legacy POS, loyalty, data platforms, and third-party services using D365 and Azure integration technologies.
- Build monitoring, validation, and error handling; plan migration, reconciliation, and cutover at production volume.
- Lead Commerce rollouts, including Commerce Scale Unit, Store Commerce, SDK extensions, channel configuration, POS integration, and legacy coexistence.
Platform and leadership
- Own security design, ALM, Azure DevOps pipelines, environment management, and release governance.
- Resolve performance escalations and harden workflows and operational controls.
- Lead and mentor developers, set coding standards, represent Tru with clients and Microsoft, and contribute to hiring and practice growth.
Required experience and expertise
- 10+ years of Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 technical experience, including at least 5 years on D365 Finance and Operations.
- At least three full implementation cycles, including one technical lead or architect role through go-live and hypercare.
- Expert X++ expertise across extensions, chain of command, event handlers, data entities, SysOperation, and workflow development.
- Hands-on D365 Commerce experience, including Commerce Scale Unit, Store Commerce, Commerce SDK extensions, and POS integration.
- High-volume integration design using DMF recurring integrations, OData, custom services, Business Events, and at least two Azure integration services.
- Security design experience, including role-to-license mapping and reducing license overuse.
- ALM ownership involving Azure DevOps pipelines and LCS; familiarity with the Power Platform admin center.
