Driver Messenger- BOVA

Qualifications:

• This position will be hired probationary. All candidates must meet the minimum qualifications on the Onondaga County Civil Service job description for this title.
• The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint-based background check, at the cost of $107.50 to the candidate.
• This position requires a minimum education level of High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

• Possession of a valid operator's license Class D, or a Non-CDL Class C or a CDL - Class C with appropriate endorsements as required by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for the class of vehicle being operated.
• WORKING HOURS: This position will work 40 hours per week, 12 months per year.
• The current starting hourly rate for this position is $20.74 per hour, according to the Unit 6 contractual agreement. This position is non-exempt.
