Driver Medium cum Salesman

Job Purpose

Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Delivery Duties

• Safely operate company vehicle to assigned routes and customer locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods as per schedule.
• Load, unload, and handle products carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Sales & Collection Duties

• Promote and sell company products to existing and new customers.
• Take customer orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
• Collect payments against invoices from customers.
• Issue/collect invoices and ensure proper signing and acknowledgment.
• Deposit collected cash/cheques to company bank or designated office as instructed.
• Submit daily sales, invoice, and collection reports accurately.

Customer Service

• Maintain strong relationships with customers in assigned route.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

• Valid driving license (Light/Heavy as required).
• Proven experience in driving and/or sales role preferred.
• Good knowledge of local routes.
• Ability to handle cash and invoices accurately.
• Basic communication and customer handling skills.
• Physically fit for loading and unloading duties.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible.
