Role overview

Responsibilities

• Safely operate light vehicles to transport goods and passengers to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Follow routes and schedules, meet deadlines, and maintain punctuality.
• Keep accurate mileage, delivery, fuel-consumption, and maintenance logs.
• Comply with traffic laws, company safety protocols, and local regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Promptly report vehicle issues, accidents, and safety concerns to management.
• Perform basic maintenance, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and navigate using route-planning skills.
• Provide professional customer service and work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid light vehicle driving license and have a clean driving record.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Know UAE traffic laws and regulations.
• Prior driver or similar transportation experience is preferred.
• Bring strong time management, organization, reliability, and punctuality.
• Have excellent English communication abilities; Arabic is a plus.
• Be physically capable of extended periods of driving.
• Be proficient in basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Know defensive driving and occupational health and safety practices.
• Be able to navigate and plan routes, solve problems, and handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Bring a professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset.
• Be flexible to work varying schedules as required.

Skills and experience

• Familiarity with vehicle-log maintenance and record-keeping systems is requested.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,500–3,000 per month.

Schedule

• The role may require early mornings, evenings, and weekends according to operational needs.

Workplace and employment

• Full-time position.
• Work location is in person.
