Responsibilities
- The Driver cum Storekeeper is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and documents, while also managing pharmacy inventory, receiving and issuing stock, maintaining records, and ensuring proper storage of medicines in compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Safely transport medicines, medical supplies, and pharmacy-related documents to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of pharmacy products.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections.
- Report vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure valid registration, insurance, and licenses are maintained.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming pharmaceutical products and supplies.
- Organize and store inventory according to pharmacy standards and storage requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages or near-expiry items.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock audits.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Ensure proper handling and storage conditions for medicines, including temperature-sensitive products.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Qatar driving license.
- Previous experience as a driver and/or storekeeper is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and record keeping.
- Familiarity with pharmacy or healthcare environments is an advantage.
