Draftsman ( Landscaping and Swimming Pool)

Overview

Responsibilities

• **Technical Drawing:** Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software based on project requirements and specifications.
• **Design Support:** Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to develop and refine design concepts, providing technical input and feedback to ensure feasibility and functionality.
• **Drafting Standards:** Adhere to drafting standards, codes, and regulations applicable to the industry, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• **Revision and Modification:** Review and revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders, incorporating changes and updates in a timely manner while maintaining version control.
• **Documentation:** Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of drawings, revisions, and project files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for reference and archival purposes.
• **Coordination:** Coordinate with other departments or external stakeholders to obtain necessary information or input for drafting work, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• **Quality Assurance:** Conduct quality checks on drafted drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards before finalization and distribution.

Requirements

• **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• **Experience:** Proven experience as a draftsman, CAD technician, or related role, demonstrating proficiency in technical drawing and drafting techniques.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
• Understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerance and industry-specific standards
• Attention to Detail:
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in creating and reviewing technical drawings to ensure completeness and precision.

Communication

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to interpret design requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and convey technical information clearly and concisely.
