Role responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings, detailed plans, elevations, and sections for custom furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out works.
- Interpret design concepts, architectural drawings, and client requirements to create production-ready drawings for workshop and site teams.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and carpentry teams; update drawings based on feedback.
- Ensure drawing details comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain drawing documentation and revisions, support material take-offs, and contribute to execution from design to installation.
- Take measurements and perform site supervision.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong technical drafting skills for furniture and joinery, including plans, elevations, and sections.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and other relevant design tools for interior fit-out and custom furniture detailing.
- Knowledge of joinery methods, materials, hardware, and production processes.
- Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and measurements.
- Attention to detail, dimensional accuracy, and spatial and technical visualization skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with project and workshop or site teams.
- A relevant technical diploma or certification is mentioned; freshers may also apply.
Experience and languages
