- using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Convert conceptual designs and engineers’ sketches into
- accurate working drawings
- .
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and ensure proper document control of issued drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams to incorporate design changes, RFIs, and as-built updates.
- Prepare
- shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings
- as per project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with
- authorities’ standards (e.g., ADM, RTA, Ashghal, etc.)
- and project specifications.
- Support design team with quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation when required.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of drawings before submission.
- Assist in clash detection, design reviews, and implementation of design modifications.
- Provide technical support to site teams regarding interpretation of drawings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
- Minimum 4–7 years’ experience
- as Civil Draftsman in
- roads and infrastructure projects
- (preferably in UAE/GCC).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of
- road design elements, utility networks, profiles, cross-sections, grading, and alignments
- .
- Knowledge of local
- design standards, authorities’ requirements, and drafting practices
- .
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in
- roads, Infra and stormwater, sewerage, and dry utilities drafting
- .
- Knowledge of other design software (Navisworks, InfraWorks, Revit, or MicroStation) is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing
