Drafting Coordinator

Overview

• Execute works as per the target design and fabrication schedule as agreed with the Sr. Project Coordinator.
• Interface with sub-contractors/manufacturers to ensure compliance with specified quality, work sequence with fabrication schedule.
• Initiate production BOQs based on approved shop drawings.
• Issue material and equipment requisitions as needed, follow-up the deliveries and control the storage work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Study fabrication drawings and Bill of material of projects.
• Plan daily activities to meet project deadlines.
• Continuous self-learning of roof and cladding products, accessories and ancillary items.
• Responsible for production of accurate roofing/cladding shop drawings using AutoCad in 2D and or 3D formats (REVIT).
• Coordinate directly with project installation teams concerning produced shop drawings and delivered materials to ensure compliant installation.
• Optimize material usage to reduce/eliminate waste during the material BOQ process.
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, material/logistic department, Engineering.
• Participate in project meetings with projects department to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise in the daily activities.
• Ability to communicate efficiently, effectively, politely & professionally with other team members & clients.
