Big Story Media is launching its in-house production arm and looking for a skilled DOP / Cinematographer with strong RED camera and cinema equipment background to join our freelance crew pool in Dubai.
About the role
Own the visual language of commercial and cinema productions.
We need a DOP who is comfortable designing the camera and lighting approach around RED-based cinema workflows, from lensing and exposure through on-set monitoring, media handoff, and post-friendly capture.
We're starting with a zero-downpayment model — clients pay only if they're happy with the final content — which means we need DOPs who can deliver premium, cinema-grade visuals.
Requirements
- Proven DOP experience on commercial, corporate, and narrative projects
- Strong hands-on background with RED camera systems and cinema camera equipment
- Comfortable with RED RAW / R3D capture, exposure discipline, monitoring, and media workflow
- Confident with lighting design, lens choice, camera movement, and on-set leadership
- Able to collaborate with camera assistants, gaffers, editors, and colorists
- Own kit or access to cinema camera / lens / lighting packages is a plus
- Dubai-based preferred
- What we offer:
