Domestic Cook / Chef

· Prepare daily meals as per family preferences, dietary requirements, and cultural or religious practices.

· Plan balanced menus including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

· Adjust meals for special needs (e.g., low-salt, diabetic, vegetarian, child-friendly meals).

· Prepare food for guests, small gatherings, or special occasions when required.

· Prepare grocery lists and inform the employer of required ingredients.

· Assist with or manage grocery shopping if assigned.

· Ensure proper storage of food items, including labeling and checking expiry dates.

· Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and inform employer of shortages.

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.

· Follow food safety and hygiene standards while handling, cooking, and storing food.

· Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep the kitchen organized.

· Prepare meals on time as per the household schedule.

· Manage multiple dishes efficiently during peak meal times.

· Operate kitchen appliances such as gas stoves, ovens, microwaves, blenders, and pressure cookers safely.

· Report any malfunctioning kitchen equipment to the employer immediately.

· Follow household instructions, confidentiality, and privacy expectations.

· Respect cultural norms, house rules, and employer preferences.

· Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents or fire hazards***.***

· Prior experience in GCC/UAE households is an added advantage.
