About This Role

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and professional DOH Pharmacist to join our team and lead the pharmaceutical aspects of our healthcare facility. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and overseeing medications, ensuring the highest level of service and compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to serve patients and healthcare providers efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess the DOH Pharmacy License and have significant experience in clinical, hospital, or community pharmacy settings. Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescribed dosages and regulations.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical developments and drug discoveries.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring availability of essential drugs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans.
• Implement and adhere to healthcare policies and ethical standards properly.
• Educate patients on prescription drug information and adhere to compliance standards.
• Conduct routine audits of the pharmacy system to ensure quality control.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all pharmacy-related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid DOH Pharmacist license must be held and in good standing.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy.
• Excellent analytical skills to manage complex pharmaceutical calculations.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and provider interactions.
• Detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
