Document Controller

About the role

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents using Aconex.
• File and index documents for easy retrieval; review incoming and outgoing documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate document distribution, track revisions, and maintain version control.
• Generate regular document status and project progress reports.
• Assist with document control procedures and liaise with project teams on timely submissions and processing.
• Train and support team members on document control processes and Aconex.
• Protect the confidentiality and security of sensitive project information.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Aconex and at least 4 years of experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; excellent organization, filing, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Previous document control experience, preferably on construction or engineering projects, and experience with electronic document management systems.
• Knowledge of construction or engineering project documentation processes; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Aconex certification is preferred.
