The employer is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage, control, and maintain project documentation.
The role ensures documentation accuracy, timely distribution, and compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
Candidates currently in Qatar and available to join immediately are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documents, including drawings, correspondence, reports, technical submittals, and contractual documents.
- Register, track, distribute, and archive incoming and outgoing documents using the company’s document control system.
- Ensure documents are numbered, filed, and maintained according to company and project procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on timely document submission and distribution.
- Maintain document registers, revision logs, and transmittal records.
- Monitor document review status and follow up on pending approvals.
- Prepare document transmittals and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a Document Controller.
- Experience using an EDMS such as Aconex, Asite, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or a similar platform.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
