Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced **Document Controller** to join our team immediately in Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, timely distribution, and compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
Preference will be given to candidates who are currently in Qatar and available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all project documents, including drawings, correspondence, reports, technical submittals, and contractual documents.
- Register, track, distribute, and archive incoming and outgoing documents using the company's document control system.
- Ensure all documentation is properly numbered, filed, and maintained in accordance with company and project procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely document submission and distribution.
- Maintain document registers, revision logs, and transmittal records.
- Monitor document review status and follow up on pending approvals.
- Prepare document transmittals and ensure accurate record keeping.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- **7 to 10 years of experience** as a Document Controller
- Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, Asite, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
