Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Dubai, UAE with a leading main contractor.
- This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong experience in construction documentation, technical submissions, and EDMS platforms.
- 🔹 Role Overview
- The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, tracking, and controlling all project documentation, ensuring accurate distribution, revision control, and archiving in line with project and company standards.
- 🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming and outgoing project documents, including shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and technical correspondence
- Maintain accurate submission logs, trackers, and document status reports
- Ensure proper revision control, numbering, and document distribution workflows
- Maintain structured electronic and hard-copy filing systems
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on documentation requirements
- Operate and maintain EDMS platforms such as Aconex and Asite
- 🔹 Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably with a main contractor in the UAE
- Strong understanding of construction document workflows and technical submissions
- Hands-on experience in Aconex is a must
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred
