Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and control all project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Receive, register, distribute, track, and archive incoming and outgoing documents.
- Maintain document control registers, logs, and filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
- Ensure all project documents are correctly numbered, formatted, reviewed, and approved before distribution.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding document submissions and approvals.
- Prepare transmittals and maintain accurate records of document status and revisions.
- Monitor document workflows and ensure timely submission of technical documents, drawings, RFIs, submittals, method statements, and reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and project information.
- Ensure compliance with company document control procedures and quality management systems.
- Support project managers and engineers with document retrieval and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date document archives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and Planning departments to ensure documentation is complete and properly maintained.
- Generate periodic document control reports and identify overdue submissions or approvals.
- Assist in project close-out documentation, handover packages, and final archiving.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum **3–5 years** of relevant experience in document control within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Procore, SharePoint, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining document integrity.
- Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
