EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
• The successful applicant will have completed High School
• An alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable.
• Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion (i.e., The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.
• Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements:
• The incumbent must have up to three months of prior related experience including experience with warehouse processing or goods distribution and knowledge of lifting guidelines an asset.
• Skills and Capabilities:
• The performance of the job requires frequent sitting for long periods of time, twisting, bending, crouching, reaching, reaching overhead, pushing, and pulling, lifting and kneeling.
• The performance of the job requires frequent safety awareness and sorting of donations.
