Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the loading and unloading of materials within the dock area.
• Manage dock schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize wait times.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all dock operations.
• Collaborate effectively with transport personnel and warehouse teams to prioritize and sequence dock activities.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation related to inbound and outbound materials.
• Monitor and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that arise in the dock area.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the dock area.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Implement all relevant Supply Chain & Logistics department policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.
• Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports that meet departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
