Role Overview
An opportunity for an internationally recognized clinician-leader to lead the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology within a state-of-the-art tertiary research hospital. Reporting to the Department Chair, the Division Chief will drive strategic growth, clinical operations, quality governance, research, and ACGME-I accredited fellowship training across specialized subspecialties, including Type 1 Diabetes technology, pediatric obesity and metabolic programs, growth, DSD, and complex endocrine disorders.

Position Summary
An opportunity for an internationally recognized clinician-leader to lead the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology within a state-of-the-art tertiary research hospital. Reporting to the Department Chair, the Division Chief will drive strategic growth, clinical operations, quality governance, research, and ACGME-I accredited fellowship training across specialized subspecialties, including Type 1 Diabetes technology, pediatric obesity and metabolic programs, growth, DSD, and complex endocrine disorders.
Effort Allocation
- 60% Clinical Care & Quality Governance, 20% Administrative Leadership, 20% Research & Education.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Education & Credentials: MD/MBBS, formal subspecialty fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology, and Board Certification/CCT. Eligible for Qatar MOPH Senior Consultant license and academic appointment.
- Experience: 10+ years post-certification clinical experience in an academic medical center, including 3+ years in executive leadership (e.g., Division Chief, Program Director). Proven record of peer-reviewed research, educational mentorship, and multidisciplinary leadership across diabetes, metabolic health, and obesity care. Fluent in English (Arabic desirable).
