Job Summary
Royal Ocean Company is seeking an experienced and qualified Diving Supervisor to oversee and manage commercial diving operations safely and efficiently.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising diving teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating underwater activities, and maintaining operational standards for marine and offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all diving operations and diving personnel on site
- Ensure all diving activities are carried out in accordance with IMCA and international safety standards
- Conduct pre-dive briefings and risk assessments
- Monitor diving operations, equipment, and communication systems
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of diving equipment
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and marine crews regarding diving schedules and operations
- Maintain diving logs, permits, and operational records
- Ensure emergency procedures and rescue plans are in place and understood by the team
- Verify divers’ certifications and fitness before deployment
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial diving operations
- Proven experience as Diving Supervisor in marine, offshore, or underwater construction projects
- Strong knowledge of diving safety regulations and underwater operations
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in offshore and marine environments
- Enforce company HSE policies and procedures at all times
• Valid Commercial Diving Supervisor Certificate
- IMCA Diving Supervisor Certification (Air Diving preferred)
- ADCI / IMCA recognized Commercial Diver Certification
- Valid First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Administration Certificate
- Valid BOSIET / H2S Certificate (preferred for offshore projects)
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate for Diving
- Knowledge of IMCA International Code of Practice
Preferred Nationality
Open to all nationalities with relevant marine and diving experience.
