District Groundskeeper

12-month Classified Employee

Rate of Pay: No less than $16.35 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

General duties are, but not limited to:

1) Maintain and care of vegetation around school grounds.

2) Mow and edge district lawns, prune trees, and trim hedges.

3) Operate and maintain sprinkler system.

4) Maintain and repair all grounds keeping equipment.

5) Maintain equipment

Qualifications: high school diploma or GED, ability to read, write, and follow oral or

written instructions, physical dexterity and ability to do manual labor, ability to work

in adverse weather conditions, ability to work without direct supervision. Must have

valid Arizona driver’s license.
