EELAF is hiring a highly motivated and results-driven

Distribution Sales Engineer – ELV

to grow its ELV distribution business across the UAE.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing business through system integrators, resellers, installers, and contractors, managing assigned accounts, promoting ELV products and solutions, and following opportunities from initial inquiry through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, delivery, and collection.

The successful candidate must have strong technical and commercial knowledge of

structured cabling, data center infrastructure, and video surveillance solutions

, supported by proven B2B distribution sales experience and an active network within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE ELV distribution market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with system integrators, resellers, installers, contractors, and other B2B partners.
  • Promote and sell structured cabling, data center infrastructure, video surveillance, and related ELV solutions.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts and develop plans to increase revenue, product penetration, and repeat business.
  • Generate inquiries and follow opportunities through quotation, negotiation, closing, delivery, and collection.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial quotations in coordination with presales and product teams.
  • Review and follow up on BOQs, technical specifications, pricing, product availability, project requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Support partners with product selection, technical information, demonstrations, submittals, and solution proposals.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding project registration, special pricing, product approvals, and technical support.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, sales forecasts, customer activities, and account updates on CRM.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market pricing, customer demand, and new business opportunities.
  • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, gross-profit, and collection targets.
  • Follow up on customer credit limits, outstanding balances, and payment commitments.
  • Coordinate with sales operations, finance, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Represent EELAF professionally during customer meetings, partner visits, and industry events.

Required Technical Knowledge

  • The candidate must have strong knowledge of:
  • Copper and fiber structured cabling systems.
  • Patch panels, data outlets, faceplates, fiber enclosures, cable management, and related accessories.
  • Data center racks, cabinets, containment, PDUs, fiber connectivity, and passive infrastructure.
  • Video surveillance systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, storage, video management systems, and network requirements.
  • Product selection based on BOQs, specifications, system architecture, and customer requirements.
  • Relevant structured cabling, networking, data center, and surveillance standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in ELV, IT infrastructure, physical security, or low-current distribution sales.
  • Previous sales experience in the UAE market is required.
  • Proven experience selling through system integrators, resellers, installers, and contractors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling, data center infrastructure, and video surveillance is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of copper cabling, fiber optics, racks, cabinets, data center passive infrastructure, CCTV, and IP surveillance systems.
  • Good understanding of B2B distribution, quotations, pricing, credit terms, deliveries, and collections.
  • Ability to understand and review technical requirements, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and project documents.
  • Proven record of achieving sales and gross-profit targets.
  • Strong communication, neotiation, presentation, and account-management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Experience using ERP and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving licence and access to a car are strongly preferred.
  • An existing network of ELV system integrators and resellers in the UAE is a strong advantage.
