Role Overview

Essential Functions

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain dishwashing and preparation areas, remove trash and recycling, and monitor cleaning supplies.
• Assist with basic kitchen preparation and support overall kitchen cleanliness during busy events.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and assist with setup and breakdown of kitchen and service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, venue, company, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift or maneuver moderately heavy items.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual work style.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Compensation

• The position pays $19.15 per hour, commensurate with experience.
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

Working Conditions

• Work is based at 75 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, New York 10301.
• The role requires work in all weather conditions and includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive motions, and carrying objects.
• The position requires availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and other nontraditional hours.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, or maneuver at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of a busy stadium kitchen and event environment.
