Position overview
The Dishwasher / Cleaner helps keep the bakery clean, washes equipment, and maintains a safe and hygienic working environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, trays, containers, and bakery equipment.
- Clean floors, walls, tables, and work areas; keep the bakery clean and organized during shifts.
- Remove garbage and keep waste areas clean.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations.
- Follow company cleaning and food safety rules.
- Help with other cleaning tasks as needed and store cleaning supplies correctly.
Requirements
- Basic English communication skills are required.
- Previous cleaning or dishwasher experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to stand for long hours, do physical work, and lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Must be willing to learn, follow instructions, and work in a busy bakery.
- Reliability, punctuality, hard work, a positive attitude, and teamwork are expected.
- One year of cleaning experience and one year of kitchen experience are required.
