About Seismic

Seismic provides an AI revenue execution platform used by organizations to help customer-facing teams execute and improve business outcomes.

Role and team

The Director of Technical Program Management leads and grows the TPM function within Product & Engineering Operations.

The role brings together two legacy TPM teams and standardizes operating practices, systems, and measures of success.

This is a hands-on leadership role that builds the team operating model while personally driving high-stakes technical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Unify TPM teams across North America and India around a shared operating model and support their integration and productivity.
  • Define TPM engagement practices, role expectations, career paths, leveling, and service-level agreements; consolidate distributed documentation.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product leaders on platform unification and PDLC/SDLC modernization.
  • Collaborate across Product & Engineering Operations to streamline the flow of decisions, documentation, and delivery.
  • Lead high-impact technical programs end to end, report outcome metrics, and manage portfolio risks and executive escalations.
  • Set TPM hiring standards, lead interviews, build succession depth, and coach and develop TPMs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in technical program management, including at least 2–3 years directly leading a TPM team.
  • Track record delivering large-scale cross-functional programs such as platform migrations, consolidations, or SDLC/PDLC changes with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience building or substantially improving program-management standards, career paths, SLAs, and documentation.
  • Experience working with distributed global teams and communicating program risk to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Fluency with industry-standard dashboard and reporting tools and program and team metrics.
  • Product & Engineering Operations, enterprise SaaS, merger integration, or software release-cycle experience is a plus.

Success measures

The TPM team operates as one integrated function with shared standards and support across North America and India.

The function has a current source of truth for engagement, role expectations, career paths, and SLAs.

Technical Programs contributes visibly to PDLC/SDLC redesign, with metrics tracking delivery speed and quality.

Location and travel

  • The role is based in Vancouver, Canada, with regular overlap hours with an India-based team.
  • Some travel for team offsite events may be required.

Compensation

  • Annual base salary range is CAD $150,000–$180,000.
  • The position is also eligible for incentive plans.
