Director, Technical Program Management

Role overview

Pre-sales and deployment governance

• Define pre-sales platform positioning and reference implementation strategy; support executive sponsor discussions and align sales with delivery and platform support capacity.
• Set deployment models and standards across public SaaS, private tenant, and managed application frameworks.
• Define readiness criteria, exception approvals, and scalable, repeatable deployment patterns.

Portfolio delivery and customer success

• Own portfolio delivery performance and predictability tied to revenue and net revenue retention; govern complex global, multi-system programs.
• Align program strategy with platform architecture, set enterprise governance standards, and establish escalation frameworks for environment-related risks.
• Own strategic account health and executive relationships; ensure deployments demonstrate measurable ROI, operational impact, and verified data lineage.

Organization and continuous improvement

• Design the technical engagement operating model, define boundaries between SA, TPM, and Support, and resolve systemic issues across programs.
• Build and scale a TPM organization with enterprise cloud and integration expertise; develop risk strategies for large technical programs.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on roadmap priorities; establish dashboards for deployment success, time-to-value, satisfaction, renewals, and expansion.
• Use delivery insights to improve qualification, architecture standards, and support readiness; represent the company in customer and enterprise forums.

Experience and capabilities

• Proven ability to balance enterprise revenue growth with delivery risk, regulatory exposure, and long-term trust; understanding of global enterprise operating environments.
• Experience leading and managing leaders, defining strategy and organizational accountability, and scaling engagement and operations globally.
• Portfolio-level understanding of enterprise cloud, security and compliance, deployment frameworks, and large-scale data integration architectures.
• Experience implementing enterprise software involving complex data integration and migration.
• Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication, including explaining technical subjects to non-technical audiences; strong organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Oil and gas operating-facility experience is preferred, including familiarity with operational challenges and customer personnel across functions and levels.
• Project Management and/or Agile certification is a plus; Atlassian suite experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is listed as preferred.
