Job Summary

The Solutioner Uplifts and Benchmarking leader will help Support Services identify, quantify, and operationalize opportunities to improve client value, financial performance, and competitive position. This role will combine market intelligence, operational benchmarking, financial modeling, and solution design to translate data into better proposals, stronger renewals, and measurable performance improvement. The role is especially important as Compass Group expands its data center capabilities, where clients expect disciplined operating models, technical credibility, resilient service delivery, and clear evidence of value.

This position requires approximately 50–75% travel, based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop benchmark-informed solutions for new business, renewals, expansions, transitions, and strategic client opportunities.
  • Analyze labor, productivity, service levels, operating costs, scope, pricing, and performance data to identify uplift opportunities.
  • Build financial models and scenarios that quantify the impact of staffing models, service design, technology, capital, process changes, and commercial terms.
  • Partner with operations, finance, sales and growth, solutions, procurement, EHS, and subject matter experts to shape winning and executable solutions.
  • Translate data center operating requirements into practical service models, including critical environments, technical infrastructure, maintenance, staffing, coverage, safety, and continuity considerations.
  • Create clear executive-ready recommendations that distinguish assumptions, benchmarks, risks, investment requirements, and expected returns.
  • Evaluate commercial and operational risks, including contract assumptions, escalation exposure, service level commitments, mobilization, contingencies, and client data dependencies.
  • Establish reusable benchmarking frameworks, libraries, assumptions, and solution playbooks for Support Services and data center pursuits.
  • Challenge legacy assumptions and identify where Compass Group can differentiate through operating discipline, talent strategy, technology, or service innovation.
  • Support negotiations and transition planning by ensuring that proposed value is operationally credible and measurable.
  • Lead operational validation and implementation handoff, establishing accountable owners, milestones, benefit targets, and measurement methods before launch.
  • Create a benefits-realization framework with baselines, reporting cadence, ownership, corrective actions, and escalation procedures.
  • Track realized uplifts after implementation and use results to improve future models, proposals, and account strategies.
