Job Summary

Lead execution of DevOps and cloud engineering capabilities in a rapidly expanding financial services environment.

Mature existing DevOps practices while working with a high-performing team.

Partner with engineering, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver secure, scalable, efficient platforms.

Bring technical depth and a disciplined approach to automation, cost management, and change implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Improve DevOps frameworks, standards, and best practices for enterprise and financial services requirements.
  • Drive CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing adoption while balancing speed, control, and compliance.
  • Lead architecture and operations for secure, scalable, resilient Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Partner with security and risk teams on regulatory and compliance alignment.
  • Optimize the DevOps toolchain, including GitHub and Jira, through automation and standardized workflows.
  • Enhance observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.
  • Support cloud financial management through cost transparency, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Coordinate cross-team release planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to align priorities and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in DevOps, cloud automation, or infrastructure roles.
  • Experience supporting financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Strong hands-on cloud platform experience, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, and modern DevOps toolsets.
  • Strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and technical-to-business communication.
  • Hands-on Docker and containerization experience.
  • Ability to deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Container Apps.
