Role Description
The Director of Sales for Water Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for leading and growing sales for water-related products and solutions, with a focus on leak detection, water efficiency projects, metering, and remote network management projects.
Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and overseeing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing contracts.
The Director will manage and mentor the sales team, collaborate with operations and technical teams to align solutions with customer needs, and ensure excellent customer service throughout project delivery.
The role also involves monitoring market trends, preparing sales forecasts, reporting on performance to leadership, and representing the company at industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Business Development skills, including experience identifying opportunities and closing complex deals in the water or utilities sector.
- Proficiency in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, and use of CRM tools to track performance and optimize processes.
- Demonstrated Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Proven Team Management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Experience in water industry projects (e.g., metering, leak detection, water quality, remote energy management) or related technical solutions is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications in sales or water management are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and travel within the region as needed, with strong cultural awareness and regional market understanding.
