Overview
The Director of Products & Strategic Transformation will own the end-to-end product strategy and transformation agenda of du Pay, combining strategic vision, product innovation, customer-centric design, and execution excellence.
This executive leader will be responsible for driving the evolution of du Pay’s product ecosystem, anticipating market trends, and launching new financial solutions across existing and emerging segments.
The role requires a blend of fintech product leadership, strategic thinking, technology alignment, and data-driven execution, with the ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-scaling environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Executive Committee to shape du Pay into a leading digital financial platform in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- **Product Strategy & Vision:**
- Define and own the long-term product strategy and roadmap; anticipate market trends, customer demand shifts, and fintech disruption; identify new product opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, scalability, and ROI.
- **Product Innovation & Execution:**
- Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and optimization; drive expansion into lending, investments, insurance, SME/SOHO solutions, embedded finance, and value-added digital services; define business cases, ROI models, and success metrics.
- **Technology Alignment:**
- Partner closely with Technology and Architecture teams to ensure execution excellence; align product initiatives with business priorities; balance innovation with scalability and delivery feasibility; drive product governance and prioritization frameworks.
- **Customer Experience & Market Insights:**
- Champion customer-centric design and journey optimization; leverage data and insights to enhance products; monitor market trends, fintech innovation, and regulatory developments; benchmark against leading regional and global players.
- **Leadership & Collaboration:**
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams; support CEO and Executive Committee in shaping long-term strategy; build strong product management capabilities and innovation culture.
Qualifications
- 10–15+ years in fintech, digital banking, payments, or technology-driven financial services
- Proven track record in product leadership and scaling digital financial products
- Experience managing complex product roadmaps in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, customer journeys, and fintech economics
- GCC/UAE experience preferred
