Position Summary - The Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic and operational leadership across all F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance, and full alignment with Hyatt brand standards.
The role oversees restaurants, bars, banqueting, events, and in-room dining, while driving team development, service excellence, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities -
- _Guest Experience & Service Delivery _
- Ensure consistent quality in food, beverage, service, and presentation across all outlets and events.
- Oversee execution of restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, catering, and in-room dining.
- Lead service recovery and continuously improve guest satisfaction based on feedback and performance metrics.
_Leadership & Talent Development_
- Develop and empower F&B leaders through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Champion Hyatt’s purpose, values, and leadership behaviors through visible leadership.
- Support talent management, succession planning, and engagement initiatives in partnership with HR.
- _Operations & Financial Performance _
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service excellence.
- Drive revenue through outlet optimization, events, promotions, and collaboration with Sales and Revenue teams.
- Oversee budgets, cost control (labor, food & beverage), inventory, and financial forecasting.
_Brand Standards & Compliance_
- Ensure adherence to Hyatt standards, SOPs, and UAE regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Security to ensure safe and well-maintained facilities.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of F&B experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing multi-outlet operations, including restaurants, bars, and banquets.
- Experience within a luxury or international hotel brand.
- Strong financial acumen and leadership capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- UAE experience preferred
