Responsible for the planning and coordination of the Laboratory service function.

Responsible for the supervision and direction of the management team in the Laboratory.

Responsible for the hiring of professional and non-professional Laboratory staffing.

Responsible for wage, salary and benefit administration.

Responsible for teaching and enforcement of Laboratory and Hospital rules and regulations.

Develops and implements departmental policies, budgets and long-range plans including expansion of services.
